Hi, I'm Julianne.
Ever since I was a little girl, I have been completely obsessed with horses. I was the girl with the horse posters, bedding, clothing, you name it! I started riding at a young age and absolutely nothing in the world compared to the feeling I got when I was at the barn or out on the trail.
In early adulthood, after a long break from horses, I decided to switch disciplines and enter into the hunter/jumper world. I found a barn, started taking lessons, and started my first lease with a horse I absolutely fell in love with. A little over a year later, I found myself having to say goodbye to my lease as my riding partner would be moving out of state with his owner. I was devastated to say goodbye to him but this opened the door for me to start looking for my first horse - something I have wanted my whole life (I may have asked my parents for a horse for every holiday, birthday, graduation, etc. since I was 5-years old).
After months of looking, I found my wonderful, sassy, beautiful chesnut mare, Rosie. She has been nothing short of amazing and teaches me more about myself every day. I am so grateful for her and feel so lucky that she is my partner.
While horses were my first love, photography was my second. My sister got me my first "professional" camera when I was 15 and took it everywhere with me. I photographed friends, family, pets, nature - whatever I could put in front of my camera lens. Over the years, I have been able to learn so much and I have since had the pleasure of photographing weddings, family portraits, and other events. However, one day it dawned on me that I could combine my love for horses and portrait photography - and here we are!
